The property on Lübecker Straße is used as a mail distribution centre. It is the daily starting point for many couriers on bicycles and also the location for about 100 post office boxes for Magdeburg businesses. The design, realised by Magdeburg artist Hundertzehn, shows a girl throwing paper planes on the front of the old mail distribution centre. The planes “fly” around the corner and stand for games, letters as well as communication and thus also form an association with the historical use of the building.
