Inspired by the Everyday Artifacts of Urban Space
Inspired by everyday artifacts of urban life — such as snippets from a coloring book, traditional embroidery patterns, or abstract sketches — these elements are intentionally removed from their original context and reassembled into a new, collage-like form. This process of decontextualization creates an intriguing visual composition, inviting viewers to see familiar objects in an entirely new light.
The creative process aims to question the original meaning of these artifacts and reimagine them in a composition defined by strong color contrasts and dynamic arrangements. The deliberate disruption of the composition results in a vibrant and unexpected aesthetic that blurs the boundaries between the familiar and the unfamiliar.
In this interplay, everyday artifacts merge with digitally inspired drawings, bold negative spaces, and color fields, amplifying the visual impact. The resulting compositions challenge the viewer to rethink and reinterpret the relationship between tradition and modernity, between reality and abstraction.
